Industrial Visit to the State Forensic Science Laboratory

The School of Basic & Applied Sciences organised an Industrial Visit to the State Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Rohini. The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to forensic techniques and applications. Students explored four key divisions: Questioned Documents, Crime Scene Management, Chemistry, and Biology and observed demonstrations of instruments such as the ESDA, VSC, PCR, RT-PCR, and Genetic Analyser. Experts also shared real case studies, highlighting systematic evidence collection and handling techniques. The visit proved to be an insightful experience, bridging classroom learning with practical applications.
