Her doctoral research explores the intersection of Korean popular culture and Indian youth fandom, examining cultural influence through qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Her broader research areas include digital cultural representation and engagement, sustainability narratives in documentary cinema, gender and masculinity in Asian dramas, media literacy, and semiotic analysis of visual texts.
