Dr. Sonia Yadav

Dr. Sonia Yadav is an Associate Professor in the School of Medical & Applied Sciences at K.R. Mangalam University, Gurugram, Haryana, with over 16 years of teaching and research experience in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and specializes in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Chemistry of Natural Products. Her research focuses on the design, synthesis, pharmacological evaluation, and molecular docking studies of novel heterocyclic compounds, particularly coumarin derivatives. Dr. Yadav has published several research papers in reputed peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed journals and has presented her work at national and international conferences. She actively contributes to curriculum development, outcome-based education, accreditation activities, and student mentoring. Her academic interests include interdisciplinary research, industry–academia collaboration, and promoting innovative teaching practices to prepare competent pharmacy professionals.
