Associate Professor
Ar. Praveen Gupta is an architect, researcher, and academic with over 18 years of professional and teaching experience. Currently serving as an Associate Professor, School Coordinator at School of Architecture & Design (SOAD) and Programe coordinator for Bachelor of Architecture program.
He specializes in Sustainable Architecture, Disaster Management, Project Management and Building Construction. With extensive expertise in architectural design, construction technologies, and project management, he is dedicated to advancing architectural education through innovative teaching, research, and mentorship. His work focuses on fostering sustainable design practices, integrating emerging technologies, and guiding future architects and designers toward professional excellence.
Currently serving in academia work he teaches Architectural Design Studios, Building Construction & Materials, Sustainable Architecture, and Professional Practice while mentoring undergraduate students in dissertation and thesis projects. Alongside teaching, he actively contributes to institutional development through academic planning, quality assurance, accreditation activities, student mentoring, and administrative leadership.
He is also actively involved in curriculum development, accreditation processes such as NAAC, industry collaborations, alumni engagement, and professional consultancy. His career combines academic excellence with practical architectural expertise, making him well-equipped to bridge the gap between architectural education, research, and professional practice.
