Expert session on Indian Youth

The School of Liberal Arts, K.R. Mangalam University, organised an insightful expert session on “Indian Youth: Their Shared Experience, Anxiety, and Aspiration”. The session was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, Professor and Former Director of the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi. Prof. Kumar shared valuable data and perspectives on how Indian youth perceive their aspirations, challenges, and societal roles. He discussed key issues such as unemployment, mental health, social discrimination, and political engagement, highlighting the growing and complex participation of young people in democratic processes. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, offering students a deeper understanding of the hopes and realities shaping India’s young generation.
