Extension Activity on Awareness of E-Governance

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication organised an extension activity titled ‘Awareness of e-Governance Using Mobile Phones in Berka Village’. Students conducted in-depth interviews with community members to examine their usage of the internet for e-governance. They concluded the interviews with short exercises to inform the respondents about the different government services that they can avail themselves of online. The activity successfully achieved its research and learning objectives.

Students had hands-on experience implementing research projects in contexts vastly different from their own, as the activity integrated experiential learning in real-world community projects.
