Field Visit to Park Hospital

The School of Medical & Allied Sciences organised a field visit to Park Hospital for D. Pharm students, providing them with valuable practical exposure to the role of pharmacists in a healthcare setting. During the visit, students gained insights into medication management, patient safety, and the collaborative role of pharmacists in working alongside doctors and nurses to support effective patient care. They observed various aspects of pharmacy practice, including drug distribution, medication review, and patient counselling. The visit enhanced students’ understanding of the responsibilities of pharmacists and provided meaningful practical experience to support their academic learning and future careers in healthcare.
