Free Dental and Health Checkup Program

The Health Society, K.R. Mangalam University, in collaboration with Whistle and Smile and Clove Dental, successfully conducted a three-day free dental, health & eye check-up medical screening programme from 27 to 29 May 2024. Held at the OPD Physiotherapy Centre on campus, the event aimed to promote health awareness and preventive care among students and staff.
The key event highlights were comprehensive health services, including free dental check-ups, general health screenings, and eye exams for over 500 participants. Experienced professionals from Clove Dental and Whistle and Smile conducted thorough examinations, ensuring high-quality care for all attendees. Dentists performed detailed dental examinations, offering preventive advice and identifying issues such as cavities, gum disease, and other oral health concerns.
General health check-ups included measuring blood pressure, cholesterol levels, body mass density (BMD), and body mass index (BMI). These screenings helped identify potential health risks, enabling early intervention and promoting healthier lifestyle choices. This initiative underscored the Health Society’s commitment to the well-being of the university community.
