Industrial Visit to Medicamen Biotech Shivalik Rasayan

The School of Medical & Allied Sciences (SMAS) visited Medicamen Biotech Shivalik Rasayan in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, offering students an in-depth understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. During the visit, students observed the production of solid dosage forms, including capsules, tablets, and granules, while learning about the technologies, equipment, and machinery involved. They also explored the liquid dosage forms section, where they gained insights into the formulation and large-scale production of syrups, suspensions, and other liquid medications.

A key highlight of the visit was the Oncology Lab, where students learned about the manufacturing processes involved in producing anti-cancer medicines and gained valuable insight into pharmaceutical oncology. The students also toured the Research and Development (R&D) Centre and wet laboratories, where they were introduced to various aspects of pharmaceutical research, including formulation development, analytical techniques, and the development of new molecules. Overall, the visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, and quality-oriented processes.
