Industrial Visit to News 24 Channel

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication organised an industry visit for students to News 24 Channel, located in Noida. The students of SJMC attended a live conclave hosted by News 24 and visited the Prime Time Studio, Production Control Room (PCR), Radio Studio, and several regional channels of News 24. They also learnt about the importance of studio lighting and camera placement required for setting up a news studio.
The students were also introduced to the significance of a teleprompter, which is used by newsreaders to present the news. They were further introduced to the concepts of input and output and gained practical exposure to the functioning of both the Production Control Room (PCR) and Master Control Room (MCR).
