KRMU PHYSIOCON 2.0

KRMU PHYSIOCON 2.0 was a three-day collaborative event organised by the School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in collaboration with the AYUSH Department, Haryana, centred on the theme “Towards Holistic Healthcare: Integrating Indian Knowledge Systems.” On Day 1, participants took part in practical workshops, including a Pilates session led by Taru Chaddha, Founder of Red Mat Pilates, focusing on core strengthening and postural alignment, as well as a virtual reality rehabilitation workshop conducted by Dr. Harpreet Singh and Dr. Zubina Khan from AIIMS. Day 2 featured academic presentations of research papers and posters exploring the integration of AYUSH practices with modern physiotherapy, along with a vibrant cultural programme showcasing dance, singing, rangoli, and reel-making activities. The day also included a symposium on “Integrative Approaches to Chronic Diseases,” a panel discussion on “Ethical Practices in Integrative Medicine” moderated by Dr. Gurjeet Kaur Chawla, and an insightful session by Dr. Pooja Anand from SGT University on the role of nutrition in promoting holistic health. The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony and a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Mamta Shankar.
