Padma Shri Kangana Ranaut at KRMU

We were honoured to welcome the distinguished Padma Shri Kangana Ranaut, a 4-time National Film Awardee and Hon’ble Member of Parliament, to K.R. Mangalam University. The event commenced with a warm reception by Dr. Rahul Sharma (Registrar), Dr. Anjana Singh (Dean, Student Welfare), Dr. Anshul Saluja (Associate Dean, Student Welfare), and Dr. Varuna Tyagi (Dean, Academics). The highlight of the visit was an engaging debate on the topic of the National Emergency, exploring whether this historical chapter was a boon or bane. Following the discussion, Padma Shri Kangana Ranaut shared insights into her upcoming film ‘Emergency’ and her experiences as a producer and filmmaker, and offered valuable advice to the students of KRMU.
