Workshop and MoU Signing Ceremony
From August 23 to 25, 2024, the Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State Branch, organised a three-day state-level orientation workshop at Meera Madhav Resort, Vrindavan. The workshop aimed to equip university coordinators with a comprehensive understanding of the Red Cross principles, values, and activities, while strengthening their ability to promote humanitarian initiatives within their institutions.
Over the three days, participants engaged in interactive sessions, skill-development workshops, and collaborative discussions designed to enhance their capacity to plan, organise, and effectively manage Red Cross activities at the university level. The workshop also provided a valuable platform for participants to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore effective approaches to community engagement.
A significant outcome of the workshop was the Haryana State Red Cross Society’s agreement to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with K.R. Mangalam University. The proposed collaboration aims to strengthen institutional cooperation and facilitate joint efforts towards promoting humanitarian values, community service, and social welfare initiatives.
