Workshop on Mastering Procedural Law and Forensic Evidence

The Centre for Criminology and Victimology organised a two-day workshop on “Mastering Procedural Law and Forensic Evidence.” The keynote speaker, ACP Hari Singh, addressed the participants on criminal investigation procedures, drawing on his extensive professional experience to provide valuable insights into the investigative process.

The second day featured an informative session on forensic science led by experts from the Forensic Science Laboratory, Rohini, Delhi. The event commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Akansha. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Assistant Director and Head of Crime Scene Management and the Photo Division, led the session alongside two members of his team. The experts covered various aspects of forensic science through real-life case examples, practical demonstrations, and a simulated crime-scene reconstruction, providing participants with valuable hands-on exposure to forensic investigation techniques.
