Dr. Gaurav Gupta is a Fusion Materials Researcher and Assistant Professor with extensive expertise in materials behavior under extreme irradiation. He has led pioneering neutron, ion, and gamma irradiation campaigns at world-class facilities, including ITER (France) and UKAEA (UK). His career journey includes significant roles at Sheffield Hallam University and Bangor University, where he focused on radiation-hard technologies and self-healing materials. A strategic leader, Dr. Gupta has successfully built international partnerships and converted R&D outcomes into protected IP and engineering solutions. His current work at K R Mangalam University focuses on decarbonizing industrial glass melting and developing materials for harsh environments, reflecting his commitment to clean energy and net-zero manufacturing.
