Dr. S.M. Kawish

I am a dedicated academician and researcher in the field of Pharmaceutics with a Ph.D. from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. My professional journey encompasses experience in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry, enabling me to bridge fundamental research with practical applications in drug development. My areas of expertise include nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems, formulation development, analytical method development, pharmaceutical characterization, and translational research in cancer therapeutics.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor, I am actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentoring students, developing academic content, and fostering a research-oriented learning environment. My research contributions include 25 peer-reviewed publications in reputed international journals, over 537 citations, an h-index of 11, and presentations at several national and international scientific conferences. I have also edited two books accepted by Apple Academic Press (Taylor & Francis) and serve as a reviewer for prestigious publishers, including Springer Nature and Wiley. I am committed to excellence in teaching, impactful research, and interdisciplinary collaboration. My goal is to contribute to the university’s academic and research excellence by securing funded research projects, mentoring future researchers, publishing high-quality scientific work, and promoting innovation that addresses contemporary challenges in pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare.
