Dr. Manav Sharma
Assistant Professor
Dr. Manv Sharma is an academician, media mentor, and researcher with a progressive career in media studies and creator economy education. His doctoral research focused on human communication through smartphones — a subject that defines the pulse of today’s digitally conn ected society. His teaching and research interests extent digital storytelling, new media technology, journalism ethics, and media literacy. To date, he has authored over 15 research papers published in Scopus-indexed and Internation peer reviewed-listed journals, covering themes from social media perception to non -verbal communication in cinema. Dr Manv is the believer in experiential and technology-enabled teaching & learning, Dr. Manv has conducted guest lectures and workshops at prestigious institutions including Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Karnavati University, and Amity University. His pedagogy emphasizes hands-on training, ethical journalism, and preparing aspiring filmmakers, journalists, and content creators for the demands of a rapidly evolving media landscape.
His academic excellence has been recognized through several distinguished honors: the Best Debut Teacher Award by Chandigarh University (2022), the Research & Skill Development Award by Caption Veer Research Foundation, Punjab (2022), the Best International Paper Award by the School of International Studies, JNU (2023), the Best Research Paper Award by Manav Rachna University (2025), and the Outstanding Paper Presenter Award by BJHS, YMCA Delhi (2026).
