Dr. Pooja Punyani
Assistant Professor
Dr. Pooja Punyani is a mathematician, researcher, and educator with over six years of experience in higher education. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIT Delhi, specializing in Number Theory, with a focus on the Frobenius problem and numerical semigroups. Her research spans pure mathematics, machine learning applications, and educational innovation, resulting in publications in reputed international journals and conferences.
As an educator, Dr. Punyani believes in fostering analytical thinking, mathematical curiosity, and research-oriented learning. She has taught a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses at institutions including the University of Delhi, IIT Delhi, BIT Mesra, and The NorthCap University. Beyond the classroom, she actively mentors students, organizes international academic events, and promotes STEM outreach and community engagement, inspiring learners to connect mathematical theory with real-world challenges.
